Refund & Return Policy
At The Borough Collection, we want you to shop with confidence. We take pride in offering authentic fragrances and carefully preparing each order. If there is an issue with your purchase, we are here to help.
Return Window
We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unopened, unused, and unsprayed
- In the same condition you received it
- In its original packaging
- With any original seals, wrapping, and tags intact
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice)
Because we sell fragrances and personal-use products, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, used, tested, or sprayed, unless they arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened or used fragrances
- Items with broken seals or missing original packaging
- Gift cards
- Final sale or clearance items, if marked as such
- Items returned without prior approval
How to Start a Return
To request a return, please email us at shop@theboroughcollection.com or use the return link on our page with:
- Your order number
- The item you would like to return
- The reason for the return
If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item. Items sent back without first contacting us and receiving return approval will not be accepted.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at shop@theboroughcollection.com or by using the "Request a Return" button on our page.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
If your claim is approved, we will work with you to make it right.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different fragrance, you may request a return for an eligible unopened item and place a new order separately.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:
- A damaged item
- A defective item
- An incorrect item sent by us
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If a return is approved for reasons other than damage, defect, or an incorrect item, the cost of the return shipping label may be deducted from the customer’s refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping cost.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be sent to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
If more than 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at shop@theboroughcollection.com.
Order Refusal / Return Refusal
To protect our customers and our business, The Borough Collection reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
